🌿 General Overview: What is The Calm Compass Club?
The Calm Compass Club is a monthly digital membership designed to support children aged 6–12 with their emotional wellbeing.
Each month, your child receives a themed “Calm & Creative Pack” via a webpage, filled with soothing audio stories, gentle breathwork, and creative mindfulness activities to help them feel calmer, more confident, and emotionally balanced.
Who is it for?
It’s created for children aged 6–12, especially sensitive, thoughtful, or imaginative children who may experience worry, overthinking, big emotions, or difficulty winding down.
Who creates the content?
All content is created by a qualified hypnotherapist and Breathwork Coach (that’s me!) using therapeutic techniques such as relaxation, breathwork, and positive imagery, woven into child-friendly, engaging experiences.
🌙 What’s Included: What do we receive each month?
Each Calm & Creative Pack includes:
- 2 calming audio stories (10–15 minutes each)
- 1 guided breathwork or body scan audio (5-7 minutes)
- 1 printable creative activity
- 1 printable simple Mindfulness Mission
What are the monthly themes?
Each month focuses on a gentle emotional skill such as confidence, resilience, managing worries, or improving sleep, all explored through imaginative storytelling and creative activities.
How long are the audios?
Most audios are around 10–15 minutes, some a little longer, making them perfect for bedtime, quiet time, or after school.

Is this therapy?
No, this is not a replacement for one-to-one therapy. However, it is therapeutically informed and designed to gently support emotional wellbeing in a safe and accessible way. If you want one-to-one therapy, contact me to discuss coming to see me in the clinic.
🎧 How It Works: How do we access the content?
All content is delivered digitally through a secure members’ area on the website. You’ll receive access details after signing up.
Once signed in, you will have a personal dashboard. The dashboard will have all your 'Membership' content and 'Subscription' details so that you are in complete control.
Your 1st months content will be available as soon as you sign up. Then the next month's content will appear in your Membership area 4 weeks after your sign-up date, and then on a monthly basis. (i.e if you signed up on the 20th of the month, your content will drop into your Membership area on the 20th of each month).
Can my child listen on their own?
Yes, many children enjoy listening independently, especially at bedtime. However, you’re always welcome to listen together, particularly at the beginning. I always encourage this, as you as the parent/carer, are showing your child that this is a normal, fun thing to do, and it can actually be a really great bonding time.
How often should we use the materials?
You can dip in and out, but regular use is always best (I would suggest tracks go on every night, ideally), which helps children build familiarity and confidence with the tools.
The Breathwork can be done as and when needed. However, like anything, practice makes us better! I would suggest once or twice a week at first, if there is resistance, but be led by your little Explorer! I have had reports from users that the parents see their children using breathwork in different situations, such as when they feel they need to calm down or regulate in some way...
The creative printables, including the Mindfulness Missions, may be one-offs, and others can be used daily.
🌼 Practical Questions: Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your membership at any time with no long-term commitment.
Can I download the content?
(Your choice depending on setup)
Example: Audios can be streamed, and printables can be downloaded and printed for repeated use to create The Calm Compass Explorer's Log.
Do I need any special equipment?
No, just a phone, tablet, or computer to play the audios, plus a printer if you’d like to use the creative activities.
🌈 Reassurance & Style: What if my child struggles to sit still or focus?
That’s completely ok. The stories are designed to be gentle and engaging, and even just listening a little at a time can be beneficial. There’s no pressure to “do it perfectly.”
What makes this different from other mindfulness programmes?
The Calm Compass Club blends hypnotherapy techniques, storytelling, and creativity in a way that feels magical rather than instructional, helping children naturally absorb calming skills through imagination and experience.
Is it suitable for bedtime?
Yes, many families use the audios as part of their bedtime routine to help children relax and drift off more easily.
What if I’m not sure it’s right for my child?
That’s completely understandable. Every child is different. The best way to find out is to gently try it together and see how your child responds. There’s no pressure, just an invitation to explore calm, creativity, and confidence at your own pace.
