Well I’m going round the blend at the moment. I bought a new blender the other day after my old trusty one, performed it’s final spin! So I need breakfast smoothie ideas please, especially the green ones!!! ?

Round the blend

Starting your day with a good nutritious ? kick can’t be a bad thing. And I have been enjoying experimenting ?this week with berries ?, greens, nuts and seeds. The green smoothies are packed with antioxidants and vitamins, I’ve also noticed that I am satisfied till lunch.

Green smoothies can also be a great source of non-dairy calcium, magnesium and Vitamin C as well. Win, Win!!!

So I’m going to see how I feel after a month of green / greenish ? Smoothies for my breakfast. I have to say I’m rather enjoying the change from my usual bowl of porridge.

So what are the benefits for ones brain?

Well Leafy greens are an excellent source of Vitamin E & K. Vitamin E helps reduce inflammation in the brain. As well as preventing the build-up of plaque on brain cells which is associated with Alzheimer’s disease. And Vitamin K, helps prevent cellular degeneration.

You only get one brain, (two minds as my clients will know!) so I am hoping to give mine that extra support. So I need to hear about your favourite green or berry smoothies.
And although they are better fresh. I believe you can make a job lot put in the fridge and drink over a couple of days if needed… Bonus!
