Well my word has it just poured with rain in Wiltshire and is just doing it again! Someone said to me in a shop “Oh not this again, I can’t stand the rain…” This got me thinking… I like to look for the positives in these situations, so what are they:
- Ducks, I expect they love a bit of rain!
- My lawn brown patches, need a goad soaking!
- I don’t need to water my pots in the garden!
- It’s pretty fun to splash about in!
- It’s washing my car rather nicely!
- Great for warding off the hosepipe bans!
- Rain means rainbows!
So now I know you can think of negatives too, but isn’t it more fun to think or look for the positives and have a bit of fun with it so when someone says a negative to you you can flip it into something fun and amusing? It brightens up my day, go on try it it might do the same for you and it will certainly have an effect on the person being negative I bet 99% of the time they will laugh!
