The Calm Compass Club was created at the intersection of two very important parts of my life: being a mum and being a hypnotherapist who has spent years supporting children and adults with anxiety, confidence, sleep, and emotional overwhelm.
Like many parents, I noticed how often children are expected to manage big feelings in a very busy world. Worries creep in at bedtime. Emotions spill over after school. Confidence wobbles when something feels new or challenging. As a mum, I wanted gentle, nurturing ways to support my child — tools that didn’t feel like “work,” didn’t rely on screens, and didn’t add pressure to already full days.
As a therapist, I also know how powerful simple practices can be when they’re offered in the right way. Story, imagination, breath, and creativity help children feel safe enough to slow down, tune in, and learn how to regulate their emotions naturally. That’s where The Calm Compass Club was born.
The club is designed as a calm, creative space where children can explore emotional skills such as resilience, bravery, focus, rest, and self-soothing through soothing audio stories, gentle breathwork, mindfulness activities, and playful creative prompts. Everything is intentionally short, accessible, and supportive — perfect for sensitive souls and growing minds.
At its heart, The Calm Compass Club is about helping children learn to trust their own inner compass. The calm, confidence, and reassurance they need isn’t something they have to search for — it’s something they can learn to access within themselves.
